Does anyone here know where the fuel filter is located? And how easy it is to replace?

The W210 chassis has the "fuel pump package" under the car. Black plastic cover needs to be removed & there you will see the filter. UNbolt & replace the filter.

I do not have technical spec manuals. Any idea whereabouts it is located? Is it connected via rubber tubes which I could clamp to stop the fuel spilling or is there another technique?
