new blower motor noises
 

1992 300D w124...replaced the blower motor a few months ago and ocassionally it sounds like the squirel cage is rubbing on something. You can hear the sound both inside and outside. If I make a turn it will either get better or worse.....turn it off and re-start and sometimes it will quit :confused:

Be careful running the blower if it's dragging. I toasted a control (pushbutton) unit due to high current when my blower motor bearings were dragging.
