1988 300E Vacuum
Hello everyone. Am knew here. I have a problem that their is not ahole lot of answers. The economy gauge on the 300E that I have never stayed to the farleft while on park or drive. I have tighten vacuum connections and it gor fixed. Now when I place the car on drive the car the gauge goes almost to the middle. What could that be. Thank you for your help.

The economy guage is only a vacuum guage on that car!
The amount of engine vacuum determines the reading that shows on the guage. IN other words the BETTER the engine runs the higher the vacuum!

Could this be an indication that a vacuum leak is being introduced when the trans is shifted to drive? |
