W140 ACC Mono Valve Assembly
2 Attachment(s)
Does anyone have any insight into the differences between the 2 ACC Mono Heater Valves (pictured below) - besides the pluming on the base of the units? Since the ACC Mono Valve Heater Valve without the Rear A/C is priced around $475-500 and the ACC Mon Valve with Rear A/C is $240-300. My car does NOT have the rear A/C, but I’m thinking of purchasing ACC Mon Valve with Rear A/C at a price of $240-300 and moving the duo valve and auxiliary coolant pump to the existing pluming.
Since I don’t have the specifications on the auxiliary coolant pump or duo valve on either unit, I’m unsure if my quest to save money is worth trying. From looking at the photos, the physical connectors, etc look the same on both parts, just the pluming on the base is different. Anyone have a resource for finding information about the mono valves or auxiliary coolant pumps?

Not much action, huh? I would call Phil at Fastlane, and ask him if he can cross-reference the part numbers on the valves and the pump themselves. If they're the same numbers, I'll bet you could use them.

Hi RXussell, I'm not much help on this one either
Sorry Phil |
I've been looking at the photos. I think you are on to something. You should be able to buy the 3 hose assembly and just add two Y connectors to adapt it to the front dash use. That is assuming that the connectors are the same.
I'll compare what I have in the front of my car to the photos off of http://v12uberalles.com/Rear_AC_System.htm. The photos in the first entry of this page sure look like they have the same electrical connections. -Jim |
