Oil plug washer?
I just need the washer, i have the filter. Where can i buy a washer for the drain plug? Hardware store? And what size?
1987 420 SEL. thanks. |

Check your filter box... when I purchase a Mann filter > it comes with the copper drain plug washer and a new rubber O-ring for the oil filter cap.

i dont think i have one. cant see it and it drips from the plug.

My c-class uses a washer with a 12/16 inch overall diameter and a 9/16 inner diameter, or real close to that.

I would get it from the dealer. Shouldn't cost too much... (famous last words)

got one from lowes. thanks for the sizes. i will just make sure the next filter i buy has the washer in it with the seals.
