Cabin filters E320 2001
I found the first filter under the glovebox area, you remove a cover and the filter is there, slots out, full of pollen etc.
But there is another filter in this car, anyone knows where it is located? Thanks |

That's the charcoal filters that you found.
The more commonly replaced filter requires removal of the glove box.

It appears since I do not have climate control, there is only 1 filter and it is in the passenger's footwell. It is paper impregnated with carbon so acts as both dust+odour filter.
I failed to remove the glovebox, if I pulled any harder I would have yanked the dashboard out! But it was not needed anyway. |

One filter below -the glove box, sounds like you found it. A very quick job once you've done it once.
