reset light c280
 

I tried to reset my maintenance light on a 2000 c280 via the instructions, but I am thinking I might have the wrong instructions. it says to hold the button down 2x then turn off and within ten seconds turn ignition back on and hold down button then it is supposed to beep and reset.. any ideas. mine isn't resetting. thank you:)
