Help with w201 190e transmission flange removal

The flex disk on our 86 190e 2.3 disintegrated while driving and caused some damage to the transmission flange/bolts. I ordered a new flange (as the original is bent out of shape) and recieved it only to find that the holes don't line up with the flex disk. I called Phil and the local MB dealership where they both told me that there was only 1 flange available for the w201. More trouble: The bolt on the transmission flange (pictured below) seems to be a specialty tool, from my searching it seems to be a 29mm (deep socket). Can anyone confirm that this is the correct size? Where is the best place to purchase such a tool?

Thanks!!

Transmission Flange Removal Socket- 190E

Skier3_9, the nut is NOT a 29MM. You need a 30MM deepwell, 12 point socket. I ordered mine from Snap On - P/N SK30 and it fit great. Good luck.

Sears has an excellent selection of single sockets -- you'll likely find one there. I've also found that True Value Hardware carries a decent selection.

Also try auto parts stores. That sounds like it's close to what they might be selling as a wheel-hub socket for foreign cars. They'll have several sizes... you may find just what you need.

Good luck.
