I've recently purchased a '92 300E. This isn't the first mercedes i've owned but I've never had a w124. I found it strange that the wheel doesn't tilt in the w124....Telescopic it is, just not tilting...I don't know, I was just surprised at that. Do all the 124's not have tilt wheel?....or is it the lesser equipped models?

I, for one, have never seen a w124 w/ a tilt wheel.

None of the 300E's have tilt steering wheels AFAIK. Most lack the telescopic feature and are in a "fixed" position.

if yours has the memory seats and the tele. wheel the memory will move it to the save position
