w124 accs didn't work...then did?!

well today was the first very chilly morning since I purchased the 300...and it started fine as it usually does when cold...but my radio didn't want to power on (it did after I held the button for quite sometime)...and the window/htd seat/mirror/cd changer module didn't work until a few minutes down the road when the car seemed to warm up a bit inside and after the normal warm rough idle popped back up (have the new harness didn't put it in yet as family troubles occupied much of my time the past couple of weekends). I have no clue if this is a one time thing but was wondering if anyone has any experience with the center console controls not working when the car is first started but then starting up and working normally after 5 or 10 minutes. I'll update this the next few days to see if it is a recurring problem. Thanks.

I would check the OVP relay and the charging circuit.

I would check all ground wires (brown color) I would also remove all fuses and clean the contacts first.

ahh yes my beloved ovp...didn't think about that...was considering the alternator/battery this morning...grounds were done a couple weeks ago but for the amount of time it takes I'll take a peak...while I was in there with the grounds I did consider the fuses but never did clean all of that up...thanks for the ideas...time for some fun...
