Calling MB Doc
You were in the process of assisting me determine why my a/c compressor is not operating normally. Yesterday, the site crashed and I appearantly lost my post. Let me bring you up to date.
1. I tried 3 different Klimas. Compressor still did not function. 2. Refrigerant is charged properly. High and low pressures are OK. 3. Wiring klima terminal 5 to 7 turns the compressor on and the air is cold. 4. With engine running and a/c turned on, I get battery voltage between Klima terminals 5 and 10. I understand this indicates the push button assimbly and the low pressure switch are OK. 5. I originally asked how to test the 105/115 sensor. You replyed that I should simply disconnect it. I did. No change. 6. You then suggested that I check the DCV at the Klima TD terminal. I believe you indicated the reading should be between 4 and 6 volts. This is were we stopped. I checked the DCV at the TD terminal and got one reading of 10.47-10.6 and a second reading of approx. 9.5 volts. I hope this indicates something. Please advise. Thank you! |
