CC and Headrest drop
 

I have a 87 300D (W124) and have a few questions.
1) What ussually goes out on the cruise control systems, is it ussually the amplifier, accuator, something else? how do i check to be sure what it is.
2) When I press the rear headrest drop button it will drop the passenger side headrest but not the driver side. they are vacuum acctuated right?

Yes, the headrest retraction is vacuum operated. It is possible that there is a leak on the line to the one that is not working.
