85 230E no headlights
 
Hello everyone,

I hope some one has had this. the car runs fine turnsignals work and everything else...BUT>>> THE HEADLIGHTS wont work not even the is i try to flash them and the park lites either. I checked all fuses and there ok. can someone please help In a soldier in Germany. and the car is europe Specs. Thanks :confused:

really check the fuses by tugging on them or better yet replacing them
if they are old. otherwise might be the relay.

where is the relay located?
 
I rechecked the fuses and there ok where is the relay located???

your model is not a us model. is it a 124 model.? if it is it could be a failure of the bulb out relay. its a black oblong box in fuse box. probably a bad solder joint.look for it and resolder.
