The antilock light stays on all the time, and something is draining the battery.Even with the switch and everything off the battery is drained, unless I unhook the positive post. The car was stored for a long period of time, without being driven. After I started driving the car again these problems arose.Any suggestions on what might be causing these problems.

Change your battery, it isn't holding the charge.

Low Voltage
The Anti-Lock Brake Light and the Check Engine Light both can come on when the battery charge level is LOW.
Using a Hydrometer check the condition of your battery. If all cells are equal and between 1.275 and 1.300 sp.gr.after charging the battery should be Ok. If not, new battery required. Good luck at this level, alternator next. Happy Trails Beep Beep from Houston. Donald |
