change tranny filter

79 mercedes 300sd I drain the pan + change the trans filter. How much ATF to fill I added 4qts, way over full Help Thanks

You should drain the torque converter. I made the mistake of not and thought it took 9 quarts. OOPS!!! There's a plug in it and an access hole on bottom of bellhousing.
