E320 wont start

The car is '94 E320 wagon. Went to start it this afternoon and it won't crank.
The symtoms: Gages (gas oil temp) are dead, ABS light on, there is a clicking sound sort of like motorboating coming from under the fuse box. It's not the neutral safety switch, that was changed last year and the battery is fine. I'm thinking maybe it's a bad relay or bad connection. I am hoping this a common problem with an easy fix, can anybody advise what I should do?
Thanks in advance.

check the fuse box, and look at I think it is fuse 4 or 5.. it may be toast. they may still look good so pull it and then see...

If not, could be a relay of some sort, but check into that fuse first.

Also make sure your battery is simply not dead.

Still looking for some hints as to whats wrong, it seems to me that the problem is either a bad relay, bad connection, or something wrong with the factory alarm. HELP!!

Thanks Arthur, I will trace it out this afternoon, too bad the car is in a parking lot 25 miles from home. Do you have any thoughts about the gages going dead and the ABS light coming on while driving prior to the no start problem?
