changing headlamp

Hi,
Can anyone give me detailed instructions on how to change the bulb in the front headlamps on a 1998 E320? They die often and its so far to the dealer. Thanks

I'm pretty sure the directions are in the owner's manual. Are you sure you don't have an electrical problem in the headlight? I've never had a bulb burn out in the four years I've had the car.

Be sure not to touch the glass portion on head light bulbs. The simple oil residue from one's fingers can make the bulb glass crack.

I checked through the manual and the only thing it says about the headlamps is that they are "H7 55W". My car is Canadian so the lights are on all the time when I am driving.
