560 sel battery drain
 

Approx 1 month ago I replaced the battery in my 87 560 sel as I believed it had a dead cell and could'nt hold a charge. After 1 month with the new battery it has been drained on two seperate occasions overnight while sitting. No interior lights have been left on and I am wondering if anyone knows what could be causing this. One morning I thought I heard a motor running in the rear of the vehicle without it turned on. Disconnected the antenna but was not the problem. Any ideas??????

Vac pump in trunk? The best way is fuse by fuse with a Volt Meter. I had one that drive me crazy - it was the L Rear Passenger door light that is hidden when the door is closed:mad:

Thanks. Since I posted, I checked the trunk light. Seems as though it does not go off when the trunk is closed. Why, I don't know.

micro switch back there is most likely bad.
