Need A Good Source For Parts
I need to know a good, low-priced source for BOSCH tuneup parts. Has anyone bought these on e-bay and had problems? Just want to make sure that the parts are genuine Bosch OEM and not cheap aftermarket...have heard some horror stories. Any referals and/or reputable sellers would be appreciated, since I guess this is probably cheapest source for these???? Many thanks,

What's wrong with FastLane ( click on the above )?
Beware of counterfeit " Bosch " parts. ;) |
Ditto what Manny said.
I like to point this out from time to time, especially if someone is new around here: This forum is run by a Mercedes Shop. If you need parts, they are a fantastic source. Click on the Fastlane tab at the top of the page. If you don't find the part you need, or if you have any questions, call Phil. He is extremely helpful and knowledgable about all things Mercedes. I cannot speak highly enough about the service he provides. (I'm not associated in any way with Mercedes Shop, I'm just an extremely satisfied customer, and someone who's very appreciative that this forum exists!) Sometimes the prices of parts here at MercedesShop are a couple of dollars more expensive than at some other online parts places. But those other places do not have a Mercedes parts specialist (Phil) available for phone/e-mail support. And they don't offer what you get from this forum: advice from professional MB techs. With MB dealer labor rates at $100/hour, that couple extra dollars is the best bargain on the net, in my humble opinion. Keep in mind that if the revenue generated by the forum doesn't exceed the cost of operating it, then how can it be expected to be here in the future? (Answer: It can't.) I don't know about you, but if this forum did not exist, I would not be able to own a Mercedes. Support the people who support your community -- in this case, our community is this forum. See ya 'round the community, neighbor! Just my 2 cents... arguably worth that. Jeff Pierce |
Beware, Bosch is not always the way to go.. A lot of their products are coming out of Spain, Italy, South Africa and India... In these instances Aftermarket companies from Germany are the way to go.

Your signature would not have anything to do with your statement, would it ?

The two do go hand in hand... I buy/sell/use this stuff every day on my/my customers cars.
I HATE double work so I make it a point to find out what works best. Jonathan |
