parts list for 97 E420 tuneup
 

Could you tell me what should be on my parts list for a tune up of my 97 E420 with 105k. My local independent tech is more of a "why fix until its broke" mentality. I think I should at least do the preventitive.

I will copile the list and get the parts from tire rack.

I assume you are doing the 15k mile service then?

Oil, oil filter, climate control filter, wiper blade about covers it.

Change spark plugs every 30k. Engine air filter at 30k if you want, but recommended at 60k.

Tire Rack sells tires. :D
When was the last time the car had a tune-up ?
Typical items to consider would be sparkplugs, airfilter, fuelfilter. ;)

Yeah, if you don't know what has been done in the history, add a fuel filter and engine air filter to the list.

If you don't know when they were changed last, I would change them. ;)

Thanks..I've owned the car since 65k and I haven't changed..so it is probably time.
