Ride Height Dilemma

I've recently changed the front and rear shocks and springs on my 1998 E430 Sport. The front ride hieght is now 17.20" and appears obviously too high. I have triple checked part numbers to confirm that I did not install the wrong springs or spring pads. Front springs: 210-321-30-04, front pads: 210-321-05-84. It looks as if the car should be sitting 2 or 2.5 inches lower in the front. Do you know what the original ride height is? Any advise would be appreciated.
