Fan motor

I have a '95 E320 and my heater fan has quit accompanied by my ABS and SRS lights coming on and my gas gauge fluttering. My fan motor has been making a slight squeeling noise for some time now. I was wondering why these 2 lights would come on at the same time my fan fails. Any ideas?
