c280 benz Ball Joints/rotors??

I have a 100k1998 benz. The rotors were replaced at 60 k, the ball joints have never been replaced. Should this be something that I should consider doing? if so, for these 2 items should I only use MB ones or would cheaper versions be okay to use?
