VIN chk thru google/yahoo neat tip

you can search google or yahoo by just typing in a VIN number and get basic Model / year / engine information.
I never knew this and though it was pretty neat.

Google doesn't work for euro style VINs.

I couldn't get Russian site to work; anything need to be done besides typing vin number?

Convert your vin, change digit position 4 thru 10,
e.g. for a 86 300E (124.030)
US VIN = WDBEA30D8GA999999 CONVERTS TO
EURO VIN = WDB1240301A999999
