I just put the interior back in my W201, and while doing this replaced all the interior bulbs. The ones in the centre console and shiftergate were 1.2w, and the ones for the instrument cluster were 3w. Now, the instrument cluster is almost not lit up at all, and the shiftergate is brighter than anything else in the car.. The knobs for the heater (I have the three round ones, not the pushbutton kind) are lit up OK, but the surroundings are quite dim as well.. Does anyone know what the correct wattage is for these positions?
