I have a 1982 300TD. I love this car I got it about 5 months ago. It is now doing a couple of things I can't figure out. About 2 weeks ago the front end (springs) started squeaking very loud. It would do it over bumps, accelerating and stopping. The other thing is when you first start it up it has a miss in the engine. As it warms up it goes away. The car has 188000 miles on it. When I got it I changed all filters and fluids. It gets any where from 24 to 25.5 mpg and does not use any oil in the 3 thousand mile oil change. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
