Found under drivers seat - whatsit?
 

Found this little gem under the driver's seat of my '85 300D......Anyone recognize it? Looks to me like maybe a wire retainer?...possibly for the electrical "wear your seatbelt" wire/doodad?

Unless its a rare euro part that everyone is clamouring for and worht big bucks..it'll prolly end up in the "spare/leftover" parts bin.....

A clip which holds the upholstery to the seat frames.........if you have any raised pleats in your seat covers the clip in your hand explains why.

oh well:rolleyes: I built up the padding under the seat and I am not very likely to undo it all to get that clip back to from whence it came....into the bin it goes.....Many Thanks for they info folks!!!!
