300se Air Problems??

I have the 1992 300se 3.2 V6. The heat works great in the front but not under the rear seats and the rear passagner vents blow cold air out at all times. Also when you are at an idle the air gets cool. I also am having trouble with the dash cluster lights flickering when i use my turn signels and wipers? My car has 180,000 miles on it does the timming chain need to be replaced?? Thanks God Bless :-)

The rear vent is just that - a vent only. No hot air comes out.

The outlets for rear heat are not very big. I don't get a lot out of mine either ('90 420SEL).

Your car is an inline 6 - not the 116 or 117 V-8 that need to have their chains and/or guide rails replaced. There are many threads here telling how to check for timing chain stretch - that is how I would check it. If the oil has been changed regularly then I imagine there is very little stretch if any at all.
