www.************************ You can search their website but also be sure to order a free catalog. It's great cross reference for part/prices between dealer, Fastlane, and other suppliers.

Good one..

what's the difference between a looped and pin type reamer besides $120 to buy one?

The difference in the two reamers is their diameter and length. The old loop plugs were fatter than the later pin type plugs. I would recommend Samstag Sales for a reamer http://www.samstagsales.com

They sell a full line of German tools such as; Stahlwille, Hazet, Heyco, Gedore and also have a very comprehensive list of MB factory tools with MB part numbers. I think that link I inserted is the correct one, but if not, do a Google search on "Samstag Sales"

A drill bit of the same size will also work. That's what I used. After doing all the holes a cranked it for about five seconds to blow out the carbon. It did get quite a bit out.

Sam sells one for $160 so I won't be going out like that ;-)

You can rent a glow plug reamer for $6.00.
