300TE4Matic (1991) Operating triangle lights up at 60mph
The 4matic operating triangle light (but not the square "4matic" light) started always coming on at 80 mph. The drive shaft notches were cleaned of corrosion by an MB specialist and the light then came on at 40mph.Corroded drive shafts were diagnosed by both the MB specialist and the main dealer so they were changed for good uncorroded 2nd hand ones as new ones cost more than the car is worth. The light now comes on at 60mph! I suspect the sensors myself as the car has done 250000 miles. Can anyone help?

More like tire wear or type/size.
Check they are all same wear and size as different rolling diameter will increase slip angles at high rotational speeds. .
