Please Help! My 95 E320 a/c blower motor only runs at high speed in auto mode. This is too high for comfort and minimum is not very useful. Is there a convenient way to check for proper output from the auto climate control unit to the blower regulator (n29) or should I just spring for a new regulator? Are they prone to fail in this way? Is there a way to easily bypass the auto mode altogether and wire in an intermediate mode which to me makes more sense anyway? Any help on this matter will be appreciated.

Blower regulator trigger feed wire is yellow on the 3 wire connector on firewall. [y/b/r].. there should be variable voltage [ 2-8 approx] at that connector from Control panel inputs. If No , CP is suspect , if Yes , blower regulator is suspect........
