560 air cleaner assembly into a 420. Any pwr diff?

I was driving my 420 today and saw another 560 down the road which got me thinking of the twin air cleaner tubes that a 560 has. I was wondering If I would feel a power diff in my 420 If I install a 560 air cleaner assembly with the dual tubes. I've been hearing that the extra tube on the 560 does nothing and is just for cosmetic purposes. What Is your opinion?

I have the dual air intake on my 420. I don't believe there is any improvement in performance. My mechanic says it wil 'breath' better which should equate - so if there is an improvement it's almost imperceptable.
