I am about to purchase a used driveshaft for my '85 300CD Turbo. The used shaft is from a '78 non-turbo 300CD. Will it fit? The transmissions may be different (both are autos).
Thanks for feedback. I'd like to finalize this purchase today but need reassurance. This thing has to be shipped so returns are problematic. Nic in SC '85 300CD @ 138k miles

The quickestway to get an answer to your question,Is to contact a used parts yard.prefably one tha deals in a lot of Mercedes parts.They have cross refrence books.Good Luck Michael.
