replacing fuel accumulator on 300SEL

Any special instructions for changing the accumulator? Just wondering if the tank needs to be drained. I'd also like to replace the filter while I'm down there.

I've done both the Filters and the accumulator on the W124. Don't know about the S Class, but should be similar. Crawl under there and look at the
fuel path. Think I remember a rubber hose from tank to pump. You could
just clamp it with a pair of vise grips. Definitely no need to drain the tank.
