Was there ever an AMG version of the '92/'93 E400?

Well yes and no are the answers.:D

An offical factory one that you could buy off your local MB dealers lot? Then no, afaik the C36 was the first factory AMG.

However was one ever modded by AMG? Probably, however unless the owner can come up with some documents that is was I wouldn't beleive their claim.

AMG badges can be bought nice and cheap on ebay, a badge means nothing.

As I thought Hatterasguy. This one had the sills, pipes, badges but no seat or engine ID.
