SL320 (R129) Xenon lights don't autoleveling, why???
Hi,
I have a SL320 (R129) with xenon. Yesterday, the autoleveling system of the xenon bulbs don't work. I haven't done anything. The lights work fine, but they aim at the ground, do not raise when igniting. Why? What can I do? May be a fuse? May be a sensor? What and where I can do to repair it????? I haven't done anything... Thank you for your help. Regards, Jorge |

The leveling sensor for the Xenon lamp control is connected to the REAR anti-sway bar, take a look there!

I've tried it but... successful and failure at the same time.
Hello friends,
I have followed your advice and have been successful, but simultaneously failure. I have raised and lowered the sway bar (with the actuator button) and have ignited and extinguished the xenon lights. Finally, the lights have raised (success), but no longer they lower when I extinguish the lights. That is to say, they have remained above. The luck is that I can drive because they are above , but no longer they lower. Where are the leveling sensors exactly? I have looked for them in the sway bar but I do not recognize them. Is it possible that I must lubricate the motors of the xenon headlights? Has each xenon headlight a motor that raises and low the light beam? Are there two motors or only one? I am not able to see them... I do not believe that some fuse fails, but... which are the fuses that control the circuit of xenon? Please, help me What can I do now????? Thank you in advance. Best regards, Jorge |
