Replace windshield washer fluid motor

I have a 96 S600 4 door. I purchased a new windshield washer motor for it. Is there a trick for installing it? Where is it located on the car?

Thank you

Bill

You sure the pump is the problem?
I don't know your car, but every pump I've seen for that duty is on or at the fluid resevoir.

Pump

The pump is located on the tank behind the front bumper, between the headlamp and radiator. The good news is that the bumper comes off fairly easy. There are four bolts, two are also the stops for the hood, the other two are in the panels in the bumper. The bumper slides into tabs on either side of the fenders. It looks like a three handed job, some have taken the headlamp out also, but then you get into alignment issues. You need to remove the shield under the bumper also. I have not had it off but that is the info I was given, dont forget to replace the rubber grommet that holds it in
