Love your dry sense of humor.:D
I actually have an SRS light that has been glaring at me for a couple of months on the wife's 89 300CE. One by one I have been extinguishing the lights. I'm down to the SRS and an intermittent ABS. I've scanned pin #6 with an AST scanner and get no codes and can't clear it. I haven't tried the Snap On scanner yet, because it doesn't work well on MBs. When I get time I'll see if the Baum scanner picks up anything. I disconnected the battery, but to no avail. After I did some reading I learned that SRS codes are generated by the box behind the ash tray and not the ECU. It sounds like you have some experience with the SRS. Please enlighten me. Thanks.
