Well, the rumor is back again about MB diesels coming back for sale in the US. A senior mechanic for MB in Colorado just came back from an MB workshop and told me that the word from MBNA is that we will soon see a V-8 bi-turbodiesel in the US most likely in the E-Chassis. Is this just another unfounded rumor, or does anyone know if there is any truth in this. We were supposed to see this car in 2000, or 2001, but emission problems kept the car out of the USA.
