Signal Acqusition Module

Can anyone tell me the location of the front S A M on a 2000 C 230? Thanks for the replies

Looking at some drawings..is the S A M the entire fuse / relay box assembly? Can this be replaced without a dealer? Thanks

I pulled the fuse / relay assy. Is the SAM the thin black box on the underside of the relay module? Can this be pulled & reinstalled without wiping out everything else out that does work?

SAM bolts to the botton of the front fuse box rear-section.... MB part number was 019-545-56-32 & is replaced by ...022-545-53-32 with a MB list of $300.

Thanks MB Doc. I found the P/N on the module. I am assuming that this is not a "plug & play" item that only someone with the equipment can install & program?

mbdoc 01-10-2006 04:10 PM

Tis simply plug & play!
