Angry 16v driveshaft wont come loose.

Here it goes. I am trying to get my tranny out of my 87 190e 16V so I can see why my clutch pedal stays to the floor. Its not the master cylinder like I first thought it to be and I just changed the slave last year, so now I am curious to see what it is. Anyways, the main problem is trying to move the driveshaft out of the way. I have loosened all of the bolts that connect to the tranny and rear end. I loosened the middle connector bolt 2 turns as required by my manual. I have tried and tried to pry the driveshaft off the rear end and the tranny to no avail. Does anyone have any idea how to get the driveshaft out? Anyone ever have a similar problem?
