heater comes on high when turning?

i have been working on mercedes cars for many years, but even this one has me stumped. at times on my euro 500SEL, when making a hard left turn, like whan taking an offramp that goes at a left turn angle, the heater will come on and let out full heat. so high you have to lower the windows, i was suspecting the mono valve, but havent pulled it yet, has any one seen this type of issue before? any help would be appreciated.

i have replaced the mono valve, not sure if that has fixed it yet, i will post more as it develops

W.a.g. ...

...(wild ass guess): Something is causing the ACC to default to full defrost. I'm thinking something loose that causes a short in the control unit during that specific maneuver?

Anybody know of any wiring that might be getting pulled when turning the column hard left?

Just an "out loud" thought here...

seems the problem was the evaporator temp sensor, i had a good one to use, and the problem is gone.

Whoa!...

Whoodda thunk of that?

May I ask how you figured that out? Any explanation on why a hard left turn would initiate the problem?

Should be an interesting story...

Kevin

i had the extra sensors, so i replaced them one at a time, that was the last one, the sensor felt loose, that may have been why, all is still well and working as normal. there was something rattling inside the pushbutton assembly, but it was plastic

How did the cornering affect the sensor.

not sure exactly, but the little sensor tip seemed loose, maybe with temp changes it would go open, i replaced it with the climate control on ad when i unplugged it it went on full heat.
