vacuum line plug placement
While changing out the vacuum valve (valve block, vac. distribution block) on my 1994 c280 in the parking lot of the dealer (right after buying the part) I found one of the lines broken. One of the nice techs came to my aid and helped me fix it and change the block. I am concerned he put one of the lines in the wrong location. I can hear vacuum from the block where I could not hear it before. Does anyone have a list of the colored lines (gray, white, black w/ orange stripe, etc) and the corresponding number they plug into on the valve? Specifically looking for the gray line but would appreciate them all!

Just repaired lines on my 96 c280. the vacuum block is nothing more than a empty block or distrubutor for connecting the vacuum lines to other areas. Make sure ALL the ports have lines attached or a plug in place. My block was missing a plug and thus the system would not pull a vacuum. Mercedes part no. 124-805-02-44 $2.40 each. (looks like 10 cents worth of red plastic)
