On my Mercedes? Never! On my 1990 Asro Van -- yep. How does one safely neutralize, then remove the crud off my terminals and battery tray? I know that crap is caustic (acidic?), so would mixing water + baking soda, then spraying it on the crud do anything? I know there's a chemist out there somewhere. Any advice on "safe" removal/cleaning would be appreciated.

Thanks!
