It seems most common nowadays to be in the stripper models and the wagons.

I wouldn't have bought my '95 if leather was in it - the MB Tex looks new forever. One of the fun cars I looked at was a stripper C-Class Kompressor - the only MB you can still buy with a stick and MB Tex.

MB leather is something else entirely.

I don't know what my seats are covered with, is there any definitive way to tell?
Also, my driver seat leans to the left do I need to replace the whole seat or is there a way to repair it? |

This site will provide the info you are looking for and more, make sure you convert the vin and click on the full version box: e.g. 300E = 1240301 substitute characters 4 thru 10 WDBEA30D8GA999999 = WDB1240301A999999 |
I just punched mine in, and it came up code 494 "California version".
Crap! Is my car California emissions, or were all 95 E320's "California version"? Anyone know? brian |
I'm slow I guess
Can you tell me how you converted the vin? obviously 124 is the chassis type but what are the last 4 digets ie 1240301 I am trying to look up an 87 w201.

My maintenance book says the car was sold originally from Gainesville, Fla. when new. Thanks POS.

Any 124 with CE is Cal...all late U.S./124 used this system.
If the car has an N59 Emmisions code retrieve system, it is Cal Emissions Standards |
