W220 reliability by generation (mk1 vs mk2)
 

Does the W220's second generation (after late 2002 restyle) solve most of the reliability problems of the first generation?
Or should one not expect much difference in an 100.000 miles first generation car, where most problems will have be solved in maintenance, in comparison with a 30.000 miles second generation one?
