My ABS light stays on and also my SRS light is off/on/off?
Any ideas/help would be greatly appreciated.

My buddy just got a 1990 300D 2.5 turbo for his mother and the ABS light goes on and off too. I checked for low voltage situation mentioned in the owners manual and that is not the problem, so I'd be interested in how to address that problem too.

ABS SRS light
 
May be the overvoltage relay causing the both problems. Located behind the battery on a 124. The relay is the sliver one with one maybe two fuses in the top under a clear plastic lid.
