Retrofitting a wiper sensor w203
 

My newly bought used car does not have a wiper sensor. I´d like to have one, but I´m not sure of the cost/ labour involved.

Does anyone know? This is a 2002 C200 cdi.

I posted the same question about a year ago regarding my W202. You might search for that thread. Search for "C230 rain sensor". As I recall the issues were:

Sensor not available seperate from windshield
Different control unit by mirror might be needed
Not sure if CAN system in car would accept new parts

I would still like to do it but I decided the cost was too much.
