86 300sdl tranny ? turbo problem? Help!

Hello Freinds.

my 300 sdl that i take on long trips , seems to have lost a little ump! wheil on a road trip to the capitol of mo, which is in the hills, haha, it seemks to lost the down shift power more like it just down shifts with no added power, but in 70 and under all seems well except for a large hill, when it is really tonqueing it seems to chug a little like pwer loss, but shoot i ahve 418,000 miles on it and i really cant tell if it has large amounts of power loss or not? Well does it sound like a bad tranny or weak turbo, what do some of my follow benzie lovers think??

Thanks, Moe

Check and clean the line that goes from the intake manifold above the injection pump to the switchover valve on the firewall then to a device on the injection pump. If that path is clogged, there won't be a manifold pressure signal for the injection pump to provide sufficient fuel for your right foot's position.
