Mirror Switch Replacement '97 W210
 

My mirror switch just literally fell apart the other day. I picked up an new switch, which includes all the window switches on a circuit board.

Anyone out there ever replace these? I am concerned about the wood veneer on the console, how does that come out? I'm asuming I need to also take off the shift knob. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

you just pull up the black plastic frame around the shifter. then you pull up the wood switch plate. finally you disconnect the plugs to the switches. remove the switch assembly from the veneer plate should be obvious...

I had a feeling the shifter frame was the key. Thanks, I'll let you know how it turns out!!
